Hey, i found this rather interesting, its about some guy who lived at the beggining of te 17th century on the isle of lewis. He is said to have predicted the battle of culloden and other events.

hmm Culloden, The Caledonian Canal and World War 2 among other things. There was similar person living in the borders in the 16th century - he predicted the union of the crowns.

The only evidence about the The Brahan Seer is a book from the late 19th century, thats the only primary source! Also a lot of his 'predictions' are not even in the book, meaning most are made up nonsense. Draw your own conclusions, personaly its more romantic bull. wink.gif

So it was written after his death and made to fit in with events? ph34r.gif

ha funny that the primary source on a guy from the 1600's was written in the late 19th century. It says it all really! dry.gif
